Trondheim Marathon offers a range of different distances to suit everyone, so that as many people as possible can take part in the celebration!

Full Marathon

The Full Marathon is known as the ultimate challenge that tests both your physical and mental abilities. It is perfect for those who have trained purposefully to complete it or to achieve a personal time goal on the distance.

Half Marathon

The Half Marathon is guaranteed to be long enough to make you both sweaty and tired, but it's a more manageable distance than a full marathon. Here, you'll find the largest starting field and guaranteed a good pace to follow.

10 kilometer

The 10k is perfect for those who find the marathon distances too long, while the 5k might be a bit too short. With some training background, this could be a fantastic running experience in Trondheim city.

5 kilometer

The 5 kilometer is the perfect distance to find your stride and experience the joy of a great race day in Trondheim city. The course winds around the beautiful Nidelven river and is perhaps Norway's most scenic 5k.

Team Half Marathon

The relay is perfect for families, groups of friends, companies, and sports clubs. Take on the challenge and start training together now! The relay consists of 4 stages, each 5 km.

Team Marathon

Participate in the Full Marathon as a team. The relay is perfect for companies, sports clubs, groups of friends, or families. Take on the challenge and start training together now! The relay consists of 4 stages of 10.55 km each.

Kids’ Mini Marathon

The course is also suitable for all children who wish to line up with a bib number on their chest. The pace is individual and up to each participant. Here, you will find the full spectrum of young runners!

Para sports

At Trondheim Marathon, we strive to ensure that children, youth, and adults with disabilities can participate in the event. We have therefore entered into an important partnership with the Para Sports Center in Trøndelag.
